There is always some form of risk involved with any form of car transport, however, risk can be minimised with the right service and expert advice.

Whether you choose to export your vehicle via shipping container or by way of a RORO service, we have extensive experience in exporting vehicles worldwide.

Container Service

Throughout the entirety of the voyage, the vehicle will be restrained within a secure shipping container. This form of shipment is considered to be the safest option as the vehicle isn’t required to be driven.

Choosing the container option is something we recommend for expensive or high performance vehicles. This is also handy if you want to ship vehicle parts of personal effects with your vehicle. For vehicles that are not running, container shipment is really the only option.

RORO (Roll On / Roll Off) Service

With this method of car shipping, the vehicle will be driven on and off the ship and secured inside the vessel, protecting it from the weather. The vehicle must be safe to drive to enable it to be shipped RORO, however current registration is not a requirement. RORO does carry more risk when compared to container shipment, yet it is more cost effective.

We do not offer Shared Container / LCL shipment, like some companies do. In our experience, we feel that the risk of potential damage to vehicles shipped by this method is extremely high and unacceptable. As well as that, destination costs can be excessive and is something that generally can’t be quantified at the time of shipment.

Destination Services & Charges

We do not provide any form of destination services, other than to New Zealand. Whenever possible we will introduce you to an agent at destination who can assist you with local formalities and entry procedures when your vehicle arrives.
